RI Housing Choice Voucher Program Centralized Wait List Portal
The Pawtucket Housing Authority is pleased to announce that we are now participating in the Rhode Island Housing Centralized Waiting List (CWL). Applicants currently on the PHA’s HCV Waiting List were transferred over to the CWL with their current information and claimed preferences based upon the applicant’s last update of his/her information. PHA Applicants should have received notification by mail to create an account at waitlist-centralri.com. New applications must be completed and submitted electronically through the Centralized Wait List online application portal, accessible at www.waitlistcentralri.com. The application portal will be available beginning Sunday, December 17, 2017 at 12:01 a.m., and will remain open indefinitely.
Rhode Island Housing’s electronic application portal is the sole method of submitting an application. Applications that are mailed, faxed, e-mailed, or hand delivered will not be processed. Applicants requiring assistance completing an application may contact Rhode Island Housing at 844-459-3600 or via email at waitlist@rihousing.com. To request a reasonable accommodation in order to complete an application, please call 401-457-1288. Applicants may also contact Rhode Island housing via TTY at 401-450-1394.
For the first week of the initial opening, computer terminals and staff assistance will be made available to applicants at participating community organizations. The hours and locations of such organizations will be available on the Rhode Island Housing website (www.rihousing.com) beginning December 1, 2017.
To be determined “conditionally eligible” and placed on one or more waiting lists, applicants must fall within each agency’s maximum annual income limits for their household size. Conditionally eligible applicants will be placed on the applicable waiting lists based on the date and time that they apply and any selection preferences established by each housing authority. More information on both income limits and selection preferences is available at both www.waitlistcentralri.com and www.rihousing.com.
PHARI, Rhode Island Housing, and all participating Housing Authorities will not on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, creed, nationality or ethnic origin, age, family or marital status, sexual orientation, handicap or disability, deny any family or individual the opportunity to apply for, or receive assistance under the Housing Choice Voucher Program.
